A China mama duck planter or egg cup. This was Made in Japan in the 1940s, probably before World War 2. She looks so sweet in her pink bonnet as she pushes a baby carriage. This will be a great Mother's Day gift for someone with a new child, or maybe an Easter present. This china figurine was hollow molded and the pinks yellows and brown have been hand painted. The usual 'Japan' isn't where it should be on the figurine, it was probably in the middle of the base of the carriage as there is a round patch that has been removed that is about the right size for the print. Some people took to doing this after Japan's entry into the war as a precaution against getting their items smashed by overzealous patriots (or so I have been told)... The duck and carriage weigh 162 grams and measure 13 cm long, 6.5 cm wide, 12 cm tall.

This cute egg cup was made in Japan for Walt Disney Productions. It features a white rabbit, perhaps Thumper, pushing a peach luster wheelbarrow.It has hand painted features and is stamped on the base. It is made from white porcelain and is in excellent condition. There are no marks, chips, cracks or crazing. The inside of the egg cup is lovely and clean. Measurements: 7 cm (2.8 inches) tall 9 cm (3.5 inches) long 5 cm (2 inches) wide.

Fun light-yellow ceramic rabbit egg cup trimmed in brick with green on the bottom. The bottom is stamped Japan. 1960s, possibly early 1970s. There is a raised spot on the left ear and they missed painting a speck in that area but no chips, cracks or crazing. Great as an intended egg cup or toothpick holder or a small candle holder. About 2 1/4" tall, 2 5/8" from nose to tail, opening is 1 3/8".
