Vintage Egg Cup Rooster Tray Set of 2, Pastel Egg Cup Pink and Yellow
Vintage Porcelain Egg Holders/Tray, Set of Two! These are so cute with the pastel colors and the pink and yellow rooster, very kitschy! They would also be adorable to use during Easter time with the pastel colors being a great match for traditional Easter decor colors. Each tray holds two eggs. They measure 7.25 " long and 5 " wide. They are stamped "Made in the USA" on the bottom. Both are in good vintage condition, one has two very small scrapes on the inside of the egg holder portion of the piece. This is a very minor imperfection indicative of the age of the item.

Hard to resist those big anthropomorphic eyes! ;)

Erzgebirge Rooster Egg Cup
Cheerful and unusual egg display stand from the 1970's. Perfect for an Easter basket.Great on an Easter table. Perfect for a boy's Easter basket or an Easter display that isn't too sugary-sweet. These roosters have a very "mod" look from their stylized oval wings and tails, to the jagged ovals that make up their heads. Very simple with clean lines. The detail on these is amazing. If you look closely you can see the tiny wattle under the rooster's chin. This still has the original labels, which read: " Made in the German Democratic Republic, VEB HOLZWAREN, GAHLENZ." This means they were made in the Erzgebirge region of Germany before the fall of the Berlin wall and is 30 or 40 years old. They are part of a large lot of German wooden items that I got from the back room of a shop that imported them 40 years ago. The shop is now closed. The paint is shiny and unchiped. Cups are about 2 inches (5 cm) tall.

Vintage Fanny Farmer Easter Candy Box Chicken Egg Cup 1950's Minty Condition
A neat vintage Fanny Farmer candy box complete with a china egg cup inside. Graphics on all sides of this box are just too cute plus the condition of the box is just about mint. Box is paper covered over cardboard. And what about this egg cup? This chicken probably delivered a chocolate egg, but reality has it the egg probably got ate. Still, the little china cup marked "Japan" on the base was stored back in the original box ~ today, an extra bonus to the box. As you can see the graphics and paper on the box are in excellent condition. Size of box is 4-3/4" long x 3" wide x 2-3/4" high.

Three adorable, chicken-shaped, Opalex egg cups. Produced in France in the 1930's-1940's, they are made of opalescent milk glass. Although still ready to serve for cooked-egg eating, egg cup collectors have found many more uses, such as pill holders, shot glasses, paper clip and what-not holders, epiphyte displays, decorated egg display, condiment cups, and more. Marked on the bottoms with "Opalex" and "Made in France". In very good vintage condition. Measurements: 2 1/2" high, and 3" from beak to tail.
