This 10.5 inch tall little girl is all ready for spring in her nicely aged pink dress, lace and Tulips. Her ears are slightly floppy. She is one of the newest of my Celluclay critters collection. All handmade by me. She welcomes spring, but is content to compliment your home decor all year long! Background items are not included in sale.
Old cloth rabbit angel dolls vintage folk art
This is a pair of old, weathered cloth rabbit angel dolls in very nice condition considering their age. They were found in a circa 1900 antique doll carriage that I purchased at auction for another project. I don't believe them to be THAT old, but they are both vintage to be sure. The larger rabbit (solid colored clothing) had a tuft of hair (?) braided with a tiny pink ribbon and attached to one ear. I do not know what the significance of this is, but it is different! The rabbit with the striped clothing has a tag that reads "Calico Harvest" and an address in Ohio. I've looked up the address and it is now a sports bar (building looks new or renovated). So... history is unknown. This same smaller rabbit looks like it had a rip in one leg that was stitched back together with some black thread. The rabbits are just delightful in their rustic appearance, layered wardrobe, and yellowed patina. Their fabric has stiffened over the years, but there are no tears, holes, or stuffing exposed. Both have some "smudges" that look like dirt/dust that has accumulated on the cloth; I dare not try to clean them for fear of damaging these cuties and really, I love the look just as they are. Both rabbits have angel wings. Made entirely of cloth, they have an authentic folk art look and gentle spirit. Larger rabbit is about 10.5" long while the smaller one is about 9 3/4" long.

I just marked this guy down $20 just in time for Easter. This is a hand carved wooden rabbit standing about 12" tall. The tops of the rabbit ears measure 11" tall and the birdhouse is an additional 1". The birdhouse on staff is removable. The red bird in his hand is also removable. The birdhouse has a tin roof and everything else is wood. This is a great piece of folk art. Please examine pics for distressed look and vintage character.

A wood carved Cypress Knee Easter Bunny for your Easter decorating. This guy is very primitive and hand carved from a Cypress knee, which is part of the root system of the cypress tree that grows in swamps in the south. Since it is formed in nature it is one of a kind, as is the hand carved bunny. He measures approximately 3.5 inches tall and 2 inches wide at the base. ( 10.5 x 5.5 cm) He has hand carved ears, nose, teeth, arms, egg and stripes on his Easter egg. After carving, I hand painted him with acrylic paints and sealed and antiqued him. Made without patterns and signed and dated by me.

Ms. Jessica Bunny is a cute, slightly country and a little primitive rabbit. She is 19" tall and made of heavy weight unbleached muslin. Her eyes and mouth are stitched in embroidery floss, and her nose is felted wool. She is stuffed with polyester fiberfill. She can sit on a chair or shelf, or hang on a wall as there is a fabric loop attached securely to the back of her head.

These rabbits are ever so primitive and handsome all decked out in their top hats and bow ties Easter finery. They are made to lean against a wall as shelf sitters, on your mantle, or live in a favorite cabinet, and are the perfect accent for Easter or Spring decor. Display together or separately as you wish. Sewn from premium quilting quality muslin and 100% premium quilting cotton that has been lightly coffee, vanilla and spice stained. The larger measures almost 11" high by 7" wide, and the smaller is 7-1/4" high by 4-1/2" wide. Their eyes are black snaps, the noses and top hats are wool felt and the bow ties and hat bands are yellow and gold micro dotted quilting cotton. The shirts were painted French blue, lightly stained again, and accented with rusty bells and safety pins. They are stuffed with polyester fiberfill. Primitive Americana Rabbit Doll - Red White Blue Dress and Antique Advertising Apron
This rustic rabbit doll is made from cotton fabric (osnaburg, for those of you who know fabric names) and is about 17" tall, with the ears bent slightly. She is stuffed with fiberfill and has a flat "paper bag" bottom, which helps her to stand, but she'd rather be tucked into a vignette or have something to lean on. Her face is embroidered and there is wire in her ears so they can be positioned as you prefer. She wears a red white & blue striped cotton dress; the pattern in the dress fabric reminds me of stars & stripes! Over her dress, this gal wears a grubby gauze & muslin apron printed with a copy of antique advertising. I've made a paper mache carrot for her, which is tucked into her apron; you can remove this from the apron. This stuffed rabbit doll is intended to be home decor rather than a children's toy. The last photo shows another rabbit which is also for sale. Both of these rabbit dolls are ready to ship and can be in the mail within 2 business days (sometimes even sooner!).

Meet Edgar, an adorable primitive rabbit who will be sure to bring a smile to you...Holding his sweet little carrot, he is all ready for spring! He was made of osnaburg and stained with a coffee and cinnamon mixture. His carrot was also made of osnaburg and painted. A spring of sweet annie serves as the carrot top. Edgar's facial features were hand-stitched. His cheeks were lightly blushed and sisal rope was used for his whiskers. Ticking stripe homespun was used for his scarf. Rusty jingle bells are his buttons. The carrot, which was lightly glued into place, is also held with rusty wire. He is slightly weighted at the bottom and stands wonderfully on his own. Edgar measures approximately 12" tall, 3-3/4" wide, and 2-1/4" thick. He was made with love by me in my smoke-free home using a pattern by Liberty Creek Primitives. Basket not included.
Primitive Large Grungy Easter Bunny Mildred
Meet Mildred, a large, grungy primitive bunny. Dressed in her best apron and shawl, she is ready to go to market. She was made from muslin and stuffed. Painted with a mixture of brown paint, coffee, and cinnamon, she was then very lightly sanded. Her nose was pinch-stitched and little pieces of muslin were sewn on for her eyelids. Her eyes were painted and sisal serves as her whiskers. An egg-shaped piece of muslin was hand-stitched onto her belly. Her homespun apron is tied on with a piece of jute. Stained cheesecloth serves as her apron. She is quite large and measures about 22" tall, 8" across, and about 3" thick. She was made with love by me in my smoke-free home using a pattern by Soft In The Head.

Listing is for one rabbit bobbin. Grouping of 3 is for presentation purposes:) Rabbit heads were made of osnaburg and stuffed with poly fiberfill. Black embroidery floss was used to hand sew their facial details. They were stained with a coffee and cinnamon mixture and were lightly glued into place on a wooden vintage bobbin. Jute was wound around the base of the rabbit's head. Attached to it is a stained metal rim tag saying "spring". Each rabbit measures about 18-1/2" tall, 3-3/4" wide, and 2" thick. Primitive Grungy Spring Easter Bunny Fabric Art Doll/Shelf Sitter With Carrot and Rusty Wire
This adorable bunny would make a beautiful spring accent for any home. Made of muslin, he was stuffed with poly fil and also with poly pellets at the bottom to help weight him a little. He was grunged with a coffee/cinnamon mix. His nose was pinch stitched. Black embroidery floss was used to hand-stitch his eyes, mouth, and "toes" on the edges of his feet. His adorable whiskers were made with sisal rope. His carrot was made of muslin and painted with an orange grunge mixture. Scraps of stained green checked homespun fabric were attached to the carrot for it's greenery. The carrot was attached to the rabbit with rusty wire wrapped aroun his mid-section a couple of times. Rusty bells and a scrap of stained cheesecloth for his scarf add finishing touches. He measures about 11" tall. He is approximately 9-1/4" across at the bottom and his body is about 2-1/2" thick. This sweet little bunny will hop his way right into your heart...He was made from vintage chenille and was stuffed and lightly weighted so that he can stand on his own. The vintage chenille has small worn spots making this bunny look much loved and slightly worn. Small black buttons serve as eyes and his facial details were hand-sewn with black thread. His cheeks were blushed and a lavender satin ribbon and rusty bells down his front complete him. He measures approximately 12" tall, and is about 4-3/4" wide and 2" thick.
