Pottery Basket, Red Floral Potpourri Basket, Candy Dish
This red floral ceramic basket is great for Easter, or to use year round as a candy dish, to hold nuts, cookies, potpourri, for silk flowers, or just to decorate your table. The bowl of this pottery basket was created on a pottery wheel using a tan speckled stoneware clay. It was hand painted with an original design, fired, clear glazed and fired again to 2100 degrees. It was finished with a rattan handle and a burlap ribbon bow. It is food safe but should be hand washed due to the rattan handle. Size: The entire basket including the handle is 9 1/2 inches high. The stoneware basket (not including the handle) is 6 3/4" in diameter by 3 1/2" high.

Here's a gorgeous candy dish or tray of vintage Limoges porcelain with hand-painted pansies and gilded rim and handle in art nouveau style. The mark is A & D Limoges France in green and 2902 in red. I haven't been able to trace this company (let me know if you have any information) but the style is consistence with Limoges turn-of-the-previous-century pieces. The dish is 7.25 inches long and 5 inches wide; height is 3 inches to the top of the handle. In excellent condition with no cracks, crazing, or chips, this handled dish is beautiful in its own regard or can hold jewelry, candy, or sugar cubes. A lovely piece for your vintage Limoges collection or for a gorgeous Easter basket.

Capodimonte Porcelain~ Italian Vintage Basketweave w/ Roses
Look!!! just like the one Nona use to have!!! This is a Lovely Vintage CAPODIMONTE Made in Italy woven/braided porcelain Basket Candy Dish. This Candy Dish measures approximately with handle 6" tall, the basket( alone) is 3 " tall, The basket is 7 " in diameter from Rose to Rose, an the basket (itself) is 5 1/2 " in diameter. The center of the bottom of the basket has a hand painted pink floral design and the darkened/shadowing to the edges around the brim and in the bottom of the basket are the original hand painting. There is a chip to the curled edge of 1 petal of the yellow and coral rose. There may also be some teen tiny chips to the curled edges of the petals of the pink rose, but if so they are about the size of a tiny fingernail clipping.This is very typical of CAPODIMONTE as most of these pieces have lots of delicate, intricate, porcelain detail. There are some wear marks located to the rim of the bottom of the dish from being displayed and moved on a hard surface(such as a table). Other than these tiny blemishes this piece is in in beautiful condition.

Here is a pretty vintage Capodimonte basket that would make a great dish to put your jelly beans in at Easter time. Use it any time of the year. The reticulated basket measures 6" long and it is 6" wide, including the pretty applies roses on each side. The white basket has black under the glaze around the top edge. The roses are hand painted and there is a floral decoration painted in the center of the basket. It is marked on the bottom Capodimonte Made in Italy. I inspected this for any chips on the flowers and I can find just one on the pink rose where the outer petal turns under. It is on the left side of the flower. You can't see it from the front and have to look really hard to find it by looking from the back side of it. You can feel it more than you can see it. Such a pretty basket to add to your Shabby Chic country cottage.
