Small area of handle dips down. See last picture Overall though this basket is in good vintage condition. Would make a lovely basket for a flower girl or even Easter. Pretty good size. The basket itself measures 15 inches long, 10 inches wide, and 5 1/2 inches deep. Total height with the handles is about 12 inches.

Two lovely, hand painted, German baskets that are such a perfect size. They can be used for Easter baskets and would hold three or four Easter eggs. Also the perfect size for guest soaps, potpourri or small treasures. They are in wonderful shape and beautifully painted with flowers on all sides. The smaller, purple basket has it's original tag that reads, Made in Germany, with some numbers written in pencil on the other side. This basket measures 5.25" x 3.5" and is 5.5" tall. The larger basket measures 6" x 4.75" and is 7" tall.
