The EGGS are made out of 2.25 inch x 3 inch solid colored hand punched card stock and printed scrapbook paper. I love the chevrons and the polka dots!! Super F-U-N!!!! Then I machine sew them all together and leave excess thread for easy hanging. The printed pieces are one-sided paper. SO cute for Easter!!

Felt Easter Chick Garland
Easter marks the awakening of nature with new life. Why not celebrate it with a handmade quality felt Easter egg garland that hangs across your mantelpiece, fireplace, children’s room, doorway, window, entertainment unit, or any open space to welcome the approaching Easter holidays. The garland consists of 20 adorable chicks that just hatched. They seem to be very happy about it judging by their adorable, googling wide eyed expressions. The chicks and egg halves are lightly stuffed with polyester fiberfill. Centered across the garland, in pastel letters, “HAPPY EASTER” is spelled out. Each half of the cracked egg shell for each of the chicks has been hand painted along the cracked edges with crystal glitter glue. It sparkles in the sunlight and looks iridescent in lamplight.

Each of the 12 panels has two layers, the back one being pastels of pink, yellow, lavender and green. The top panel is cut from white acid-free cardstock, in a flower and dot pattern. Panels measure approximately 4 1/2" by 3", and are cut in my non-smoking studio. The banner has been strung on pretty white braided cotton cording, and measures approximately 42", with an extra 2' of cording at each end for hanging. The eggs can be slid on the cording to make it even longer.
